A dinner party goes horribly wrong.
Over the course of a Shabbat dinner at a swanky Hollywood Hills mansion, a toxic mix
of alcohol, egos, cultural differences, lust and greed derails the evening rather quickly
as secrets are revealed, relationships are tested and bodies start piling up.

Michael Mayer’s first feature, “Out in the Dark” had it’s world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, sold to over 40 countries and went on to play in more than 125 film festivals, winning 27 awards. His previous credits include “Fireworks” and the documentary “Driving Men.” Michael started out in feature development before embarking on a successful career producing movie trailers for 20th Century Fox, Paramount Pictures, HBO and other major studios and networks. Currently, Mayer is developing feature adaptations of Erri De Luca’s best seller “Tu, Mio” and Brian Malloy’s YA novel “The Year of Ice,” as well as a half-hour relationship comedy series for US and Israeli Television. Born and raised in Haifa, Israel, Mayer lives and works in Los Angeles.
Paola Porrini Bisson

Paola Porrini Bisson is an award winning producer, manager of Italian author Erri De Luca, and President of the Erri De Luca Foundation. In 2011, Porrini Bisson founded her production company OH!PEN and soon after OH!PEN Italia, producing and promoting international cinema and literature. In 2012 she produced “The Nightshift Belongs to the Stars,” written by De Luca and starring Nastassja Kinski and Julian Sands. The film won the Tribeca Film Festival and was shortlisted for the 2013 Academy Awards. Her other credits includes “Trees That Walk” which had its world premiere at the Slamdance Film Festival, “A Musical Imprinting” and “The Human Voice” starring Sophia Loren. Porrini Bisson shares her time between Rome, NYC and Southern California.

Tomer Almagor

Tomer Almagor was born in Israel and has traveled extensively, before studying film in NY. Now based in LA, he produced, wrote and directed the critically acclaimed feature film “9 Full Moons” with Amy Seimetz, Bret Roberts, Donal Logue and Harry Dean Stanton. Tomer has been producing, directing and is currently in post-production on the documentary feature “King of Beasts.” He is an accomplished screenwriter and the creative director at Urban Tales, where he has been developing and producing a slate of films including “Mort in Sherman Oaks” starring Keir Gilchrist, “Boil” with James Ransone and Armand Assante, and “Wake Up Call”, based off his screenplay; the project has attracted a stellar cast and will go into production in late 2018
